It is truly a challenge to describe what Shannon does. She is not just a wedding planner; she is a friend, a supporter, a confidant, an organizer, and a rockstar. Shannon helped us with our wedding 07.15.23 and it went seamlessly. Shannon went above and beyond what we could’ve asked for in helping plan a wedding in Barrie where we live in a remote area 13H away. She helped pick things up, we worked on-site venue tours into our contract and fell in love with the first one. She had incredible recommendations for vendors and I couldn’t be happier.

We hired Shannon for month-of coordination for our wedding in 2021 however, due to COVID ended up having a small ceremony in our backyard and pushed our wedding reception to our first anniversary. Shannon pivoted with ease. She met us on-site weeks before the reception and had great insight — she thought of items I would have neglected to consider. That was a huge relief to me to know with her guidance, everything would be accounted for. The day-of, she helped with set-up and took all stress off of my husband and I so we could enjoy the morning with our families and bridal party. We planned for 30 guests (to be covid safe) at a family cottage, Shannon's decorating and ideas made the space so enhanced and gorgeous. We still talk about how amazing the cottage looked done up as though we were at a resort, and how we wish it always looked like it did that day. As a teacher I can honestly say that her planning and organizational skills are incredible. She is someone who is super professional yet feels like she's a member of your family and should have been invited to your wedding all along. She is SO adored and appreciated by my family that my mom even added an image of her setting up for the day to the wedding album.

Shannon is incredible and our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without her! From our first meeting, Shannon was like an old friend. Now, I've only been married once, and Shannon was our day of coordinator, so you may say "how can you judge after just one event?". She impressed the folks who do weddings day in and day out. I also thought she was a rockstar, but take it from the professionals!

Both my husband and I are pretty independent people and believed we could do the wedding details and day of all on our own. We began to hire all our vendors and quickly came to the realization that there was NO WAY that we could do it all. We hired Shannon later in our wedding journey after all the planning and details were essentially finished..so I thought! The first day we met Shannon we knew she was the perfect addition to our wedding, I has an instant new friend and my husband had instant relief. We are forever grateful we found Shannon as she informed us of details we never would of thought of and she was literally my brain for the 2 weeks before the wedding. Shannon was our “day of planner” BUT she did waaaaaay more than just the day of. Shanon saved my butt on little details that she previously reminded me about but she ended up doing for me the day before our wedding day (HERO). She contacted all of our vendors and sent out minute by minute timelines to everyone involved in our wedding. She is so unbelievably organized and on top of her game..and mine! The wedding day was flawless and we got so many compliments on the day and Shannon! I didn’t worry once about details or how things were going to run on our wedding day because I knew Shannon had it all under control. Although Shannon and I knew each other from working together in the past, she brought the same level of professionalism as she would with any of her other clients. It’s funny, at the beginning of planning our wedding, we didn’t think we needed a wedding coordinator; boy were we wrong! Shannon was an absolutely amazing wedding coordinator. We are so happy and grateful to have found her for our wedding on July 27th. Shannon has so much passion, knowledge and desire to make your wedding day successful. We first met with Shannon about 6 weeks before the wedding to discuss the details and create a timeline. She then created a very detailed workbook and contacted all of our vendors to make sure everything was confirmed. Shannon met us at the venue the day before the wedding for a rehearsal and run through. The day of the wedding she worked so hard ensuring everything was set up how we envisioned. It is hard to put into words how incredible Shannon is! I debated for a while whether or not I needed a coordinator, I realized quickly after chatting with Shannon that she was going to be a savior! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us with the biggest day in our lives. Having planned mostly everything ourselves and being super organized, I felt that looking into a months coordinator would be helpful. We went through a lot and when we thought about our day, we wanted nothing but for it to run smoothly. Insert darling Shannon that we came across. Shannon was the most integral part of our day. We knew very little about planning a wedding especially a wedding that kept evolving amid a pandemic. On top of that, we were planning a wedding from a distance—distance from our venue and as a long distance couple. My fiancé, Tae was living in NYC and I was in Hamilton whereas our wedding was in Coldwater. Talk about a coordination nightmare! We needed someone who could look after the details and point us in the right direction with vendors. Shannon did just that! She was always available when we needed her and was extremely organized. She was the main point of contact for all of our vendors both before and during the wedding which allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding day while Shannon ensured that things ran smoothly. I literally cannot say enough about Shannon, she is literally the reason we were able to enjoy our day. We had quite the ride this year with planning our original wedding, rescheduling multiple times and then deciding to go through with just a small, intimate wedding and Shannon was there every step of the way. She took the time to message us all the time to check in and provide advice on what we should do which we really appreciated and it was nice to know that we had her support. When we finally made up our mind on a small wedding, Shannon was amazing. We were introduced to Shannon through a family member and I cannot begin to describe what a great experience it was working with her. .When we met Shannon for the first time, I felt immediately at ease. She traveled all the way to downtown Toronto from her usual stomping grounds up north so that she could see our venue - we were one of the first couples she worked with in the downtown area. She took the time and care to get to know us as a couple. She wasn't overwhelmed by the amount of details and random pieces of information I threw her way. She took all of my scattered planning and put together one simplified document that had all the details of the day. She was super responsive every time we emailed, texted or called her with any questions. Although we only hired her for day of coordination, she proactively made suggestions leading up to the wedding that I never even thought of, which helped make the day that much better.
