This next couple’s love story started where all history’s greatest romances begin – a parking garage. Brittany & Tae were perfect strangers who just happened to cross paths when least expected. Destiny on the other hand would have them both pursuing education in their respective medical fields, while living in the same building.  

All it took were a few spoken words and an invitation to his condo for drinks, where Tae would prove to be quite the mixologist. I am talking rose gin, elderflower, bitters, and ginger beer, a little combination in which he coined as a “CockTae”. The very recipe that would win Britt over (amongst the fact he is of course, absolutely charming). Little did they know this very cocktail would be the inspo behind the signature drink served at their wedding!   

Present day.  

While the pandemic altered many couples’ plans – Brittany & Tae eagerly moved forward with their original venue and date. An overwhelming task I am sure, but this dream was not one they were ready to put onhold any longer. Brittany would remain in Ontario, while Tae’s medical residency required his attention in NYC, a long distance relationship was added to the mix (not to mention being front line workers amidst a pandemic).

So, for these two, perhaps a blessing in disguise given the changes Covid had put on their wedding vision. The day became more about Britt & Tae as a couple, and they had the absolute perfect venue to showcase that. Guests would enjoy el fresco dining, local craft beers (along with the CockTae’s), and a live jazz band. All while embracing the beautiful autumn colours surrounding the property - Not to mention the 24 degree weather! Cards would be placed throughout the reception, fun facts and opportunities to express well wishes for their future. Now no great love story could finish without an epic ending, so guests lined the driveway to bid farewell to the newlyweds in the glow of a sparkler send off.
